Earthquake projectStage 1
First we learned about how an earthquake works. Like tectonic plates, subduction zones, s-waves, p-waves, and other processes about how they form. Stage 2 With all the stuff we learned, we then designed building out of K'nex (plastic building pieces). In my group was Eli, Dylan, and Cole. Our team took 2'nd place to all of 6'th grade and 1'st to our team. We then made videos using a video making program called Powtoons. The goal was to tech little kids about earthquakes, how to prepare for earthquakes, and what to do during them. |
Who are we?
In this project we learned about data and statistics and after that we took surveys of the school on different things like favorite sports, to amount of time spent on video games. Once we took this data we turned it into a infographic with charts and displayed things like mean, median, and mode. The editor we used was Piktochart and my topic was
